Not over crowded, great for the kids with all of the shallow water to go to the sand bars and wade in the water. (during low tide) only downfall is limited parking. Get there by 10 am
Families will appreciate this beach for their younger children. Tidal pools and flats give them something to explore.
Fun spot for kids to explore. The current gets strong when it goes to high tide, so be careful... Though really fun for good swimmers to ride their tubes

We visited this beach during low tide, and got to walk around the estuary and tidal pools. It was cool to spend some time with my youngest son on our little walking adventure.
