Great place to visit with your kids and family. You can swim, see oyster harvesting, and walk into the sea for 1 mile after the tide retreats.
This is a wonderful beach to explore during low tide (find out when low tide is by googling the question). Pristine sand and cool wildlife to explore while wading almost a mile into the ocean. The beach empties out around 5pm which is generally the best time to go there. Sun is low and not so hot. Check out the oyster farm, too. There are few things more pleasant in this world than a cape cod beach in late August.
