Beach chairs, umbrellas and bicycles are available for guests to use, so you won't have to bring them from home. The inn has plenty of other amenities for those who just want to lounge on the property.
We had two perfect weeks at the Old Manse Inn in Brewster. Beautiful accommodations and delicious & nutritious breakfasts. Loved the fresh fruits every morning and those berry pancakes with fruit compote are the best. The option to sit outdoors for breakfast was also very nice. There are many lovely places to sit and relax, both indoors and outdoors. And a big plus for us was that there are bicycles and helmets available, as well as beach chairs. The hosts are gracious and always helpful. We wouldn't think of staying at any other inn on the Cape.
We stayed for two nights and were thoroughly impressed with our time visiting. The grounds were well kept and the main house was charming and very clean. Our room was in the barn and it was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Brian gave us plenty of suggestions for restaurants and activities.
Charlie and his staff are very friendly, and made us feel at home immediately.
Due to a booking error with Expedia, we actually were upgraded to the Lewis Bay Light Suite for a couple of nights, which was a really nice surprise. That room is very spacious with a very large bathroom, including a hot tub. There's also a private deck behind the room. The suite has its own refrigerator, coffee maker, cookies and decanter of port wine. For one night we moved to the Race Point Light room on the third floor, which was great too. It was nice to see both types of rooms and to stay in the main house for a night. The suite has its own private entrance and is on the ground floor.

My boyfriend and I came for a quick one night get away. They really thought of everything from games and dvds to wine and coffee to plenty of chairs for sitting both inside and out. Our room was clean and beautiful! Breakfast was great and everyone was so friendly. Wish we had time to make use of their bikes but hopefully next time!!! Ideal location as well!!!!
Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and we'd be glad to visit the Old Manse Inn again.
The Old Manse Inn is located in a good central, but quiet location to many destinations, with the beach within walking distance. There are good restaurants nearby too. Breakfast was excellent and different each morning. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, and everything was very high quality. There is complimentary coffee / water/ soda and cookies on each floor of the house.
We highly recommend and will return for another visit.
We spent four nights in August 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The locations is central to all Cape attractions while quiet and serene. The room was very comfortable and inviting, and the mattress was superb. We loved the gourmet breakfasts and the beautiful grounds. And the owners Brian and Charlie couldn't have been more hospitable, even surprising us with a thoughtful anniversary gift during our stay. Our only regret was that we were not able to participate in any of the late afternoon wine and cheese samplings due to our being out and about on the Cape. We highly recommend The Old Manse Inn to anyone with a taste for excellent customer service, superb amenities and an outstanding and customer-focused staff. Thanks again Brian and Charlie!!
