Consistently best chowder around the Cape or even the Boston area. (that I've tried of course)
This is a delightful, small place with excellent food and waitstaff.The adult beverages are quite tasty as well. I have eaten here for years and have always had excellent food and service.
Good food, good service, consistent
If you are looking for good food and service, look no further! We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant in Brewster whist visiting Cape Cod. Tired, hot and with two hungry children (teenager and a 'tween'), we were served promptly and with a smile. All dishes arrived at the same time, despite some of our awkward requests, and you could see as well as taste the freshness of ingredients. I had the fish sandwich (super fresh, real potato fries, crunchy salad) and the home made onion soup and was in culinary heaven. Not a bad word from anybody else in our party! I thought the cost was comparable to other restaurants in the area but the quality was much higher. The bonus is its location, a few minutes away from the beach, where we saw one of the most spectacular sunsets ever! There is an adjacent drinking place that we did not visit. A definitive must if visiting Cape Cod.
Off-season visit. Good food, but expect a wait to get food. They can only make 4 rolls at a time. Food is good. Chowder and clams casino is recommended.
Love the old world atmosphere! Try the baked scrod with the baked stuffed potato.
