Good little spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The hostess (Helen) kept apologizing for the slow service and long lead time on food but we didn't notice anything. Our waitress was right with us, and our food came out quickly, maybe because we got here before 9. I wouldn't say the coffee is great, but it's good and it's bottomless. Cash only!
Simply wonderful!! We stopped off whilst passing through and, as a family struggling with a food allergy, were naturally concerned that we wouldn't be able to find anything safe for our daughter on their menu. The owner and staff couldn't have dealt with our needs any better. Our daughter left with a full stomach and we left utterly surprised by the quality of the food and service for such a small town restaurant. Down home food with a family feel - loved it! Thank you!!!
Very nice menu and they have gluten free bread. Service and food were great! The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was also very pretty and tastefully decorated. Will definitely go back.
This place has been there forever. I remember back during the 1960s it was one of two restaurants in town, and kind of a Greasy Spoon. Anyway, it was decades, since I'd last eaten there. The place has a really good reputation now, in fact it's rather trendy. We were driving through Brewster and decided to stop. It was kind of a disaster the day we ate there: the beginning of the season, a million customers, one waitress and one cook, but they both held up really well, heroically in fact, and we didn't mind the wait. I recommend it. Their prices are a week bit high, but who's aren't, these days? They have a really nice menu and a great staff.
It's a great place to come. We vacation here in Brewster very often, and we haven't eaten breakfast anywhere else. Great menu, and Melissa the waitress and Helen the Maitre'd were very friendly. The food is also very tasty. Overall, fantastic!
